Meet Dr. Amireh Awad

Dr. Amireh Awad was born in Dallas. She went to The University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with honors in Biology. She went on to serve as a clinical research assistant at Duke University, which is how she developed an interest in patient care. She eventually came back to Texas to attend the University of North Texas Health Science Center and earn her first Master of Clinical Research Management.

Dr. Awad got her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. She followed that up by going to the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center to pursue an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Over the course of said program, she specialized in surgery, sedation, and advanced restorative procedures.

Dr. Awad eventually came back to Dallas in order to participate in a Prosthodontics residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She spent three years building her knowledge and expertise when it came to surgery, and she worked on a number of complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases. She earned her second master’s degree in Oral Biology during this time. She performed research on the relining properties of denture materials that were made via digital technology; said research was eventually published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Awad is fully dedicated to bringing her patients customized care that they can truly rely on. Outside of the office, she spends a lot of time with her husband and her four children. She developed an interest in photography during her residency, and it’s a hobby that she has continued to pursue to this very day. She particularly appreciates how it makes it possible for her to capture special moments with her loved ones.
