How many appointments are required for XircOn® All-On-4-6?

After your free initial consultation, there are as few as five to six appointments in the XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ® Process. We offer a fast pace final delivery solution with fewer visits in certain cases.

How many different offices will I need to visit?

One. All of your XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ® appointments will be completed in our dental office. Our implant specialists along with our onsite dental lab will collaborate and work on your case from day one.

What is the procedure process for XircOn™ All-On-4-6?

Planning is a big part of this procedure and Dr Iskandar spends hours carefully planning each case for the optimum implant positioning using the latest technologies. This procedure is typically performed under IV sedation provided by our anesthesiologist. We will then start the surgery by preparing the jawbone and inserting all dental implants into the pre-planned positions. The next step is to attach your temporary teeth that will be used while the implants heal. Once the implants are in place, they will need time to fuse or osseointegrate with the surrounding bone. This normally takes three to four months. Once healing is complete, you can return to Radiance Dentistry to receive your beautiful new permanent teeth.

How many dental implants will support my full-arch bridge?

This procedure typically uses four to six implants, but our implant specialists will use more implants if needed without charging extra for additional implants. The exact number of implants will be determined after the consultation appointment.

How long will I be without teeth?

With XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ®, your extractions and implants will be done and within one day you will have your provisional bridge.

How soon until I get my final dental bridge?

Dental implants need months to heal before being attached to the final XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ® bridge. The final bridge needs 3 to 4 visits within 2 months to be completed. Typically, it takes around 4-5 months from start to finish. But during all this time, we always make sure that you are wearing a very comfortable and beautiful provisional bridge until the final XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ® bridge is ready.

What materials are used in making my bridge?

Your All-On-4-6® final bridge will be custom milled from a XircOn™ material. Then our expert technicians will hand-craft the milled bridge to your unique smile specifications.

Will the XircOn™ All-On- 4-6 bridge look and feel natural?

XircOn™ translucency offers lifelike transparency and blends seamlessly with the colors of surrounding teeth. Not only does it look more natural, but it also sounds more natural as the material doesn’t clink when you speak or chew. XircOn™ is also lighter than zirconia and is less rigid, meaning it doesn’t transfer the same kind of stress to the jawline.

How long is my dental bridge going to last?

The built-in elasticity of XircOn® material makes it extremely resistant to fracture and chipping. XircOn® has a wear resistance to chewing and grinding like our natural teeth enamel.

Will my dental bridge ever become discolored or attract and retain odors, plaque, and harmful bacteria?

XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ® has a highly smoothed polished non-porous surface, so it is highly resistant to staining, discoloration, odors, and plaque. You can care for this bridge just like natural teeth. Other bridge materials, such as acrylic, attract both stains and odors.

What’s the chance that I will develop an infection under my dental bridge?

Infections are caused by bacteria. The fact that XircOn™ All-On-4-6 ® does not attract plaque and harmful bacteria means there is minimal risk of developing an infection caused by the bridge.

Am I a good candidate for XircOn™ All-On-4-6?

A consultation with Dr. Mounir Iskandar can determine if XircOn™ All-On-4-6 is the right solution for your dental needs. It’s well worth investigating this option if you have previously thought about dental implants only to be informed you need a bone graft or multiple dental implants, rendering treatment too expensive. XircOn™ All-On-4-6 can be a much more valuable option.

How do I care for my XircOn™ All-On-4-6 post-procedure?

The most important step is to practice and maintain good oral hygiene. Gently brush your teeth twice per day and use a WaterPik (water flosser) for those hard-to-reach areas. The water flosser will help remove trapped food, debris, and bacteria.
