Get to Know Dr. Mounir Iskandar DDS,MSD
Dr. Iskandar is a surgical prosthodontist and implantologist with expertise in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
He is a Key Opinion Leader and consultant for X-NAV Technologies (3D dynamic guided implant navigation), Datum Dental(Ossix) for Glymatrix technology of bone grafting materials ,MIS Dental Implant Technology , Dentsply ,S.I.N Implant System, and he is on the dental advisory board of Dr B Dental Solutions
Dr. Iskandar is actively involved in various research organizations dedicated to developing cutting-edge dental restorative technologies, including advanced bone-grafting materials, implant planning software, and dynamic navigated surgical guides. He has contributed significantly to the development of dynamic navigation protocols and techniques, such as fully navigated Pterygoid and Zygomatic implants. He also holds several patents for prosthetic components of implant-supported restorations. He is one of the pioneers in USA for implementing and developing shock absorbance technology in manufacturing All-on-X restorations. Dr Iskandar is the inventor of CBCTgrammatory technology for the All-on-4 restorations.
Dr. Iskandar is the president and head of research at XircOn™ Dental Designers Lab, a full-arch,full digital workflow dental laboratory. He is also the head professor at the Texas Institute of Oral Implantology where he teaches other dentists courses focused on implant dentistry, prosthodontics and digital workflow. Dr. Iskandar is a Certified National Dental Implant Instructor with MIS Implants Technologies and S.I.N. Implant System.
He obtained his DDS degree from the Cairo University School of Dentistry in 1998. After finishing his oral surgery residency,he practiced as an oral surgeon in Egypt from 2000 to 2004. In 2008 he obtained his specialty in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and an MSD (Master of Science in Dentistry) from IUPUI Indiana University School of Dentistry . Dr. Iskandar has been a Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association since 2011.
He started his practice Radiance Dentistry Dental Implant Center of DFW in Irving in 2009 where he dedicated his career to helping his patients obtain life changing smiles using his expertise and passion to serve others.
Dr. Iskandar and his wife, Maha, are the proud parents of two children. They enjoy traveling and exploring new restaurants together, and they all share a deep dedication to making a positive impact in their Irving community, regularly volunteering and supporting local organizations.
