Looking for a Dental Implant Specialist Near Fort Worth?

All-on-4

Some patients, whether it be due to gum disease, injury, or natural aging, don’t have enough jawbone mass to effectively support conventional dental implants. A bone graft treatment can be used to give the jawbone more density, but isn’t always ideal or desirable. This is where an all-on-4 restoration comes in! By placing 4 to 6 implants in strategic locations that target the thicker portions of your jawbone, we can provide you with implant-supported dentures.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

When you need 2 or more restorations, we can streamline the process by bundling your treatments into a full mouth reconstruction. Think of this as a way to make scheduling multiple appointments easier and more cost effective. During your consultation, our team will work with you closely to make sure you don’t get procedures you don’t need – and that the ones you do are convenient and proceed smoothly!

Multiple Tooth Dental Implants

Got multiple gaps in your smile? No worries! We can fill them easily and conveniently with an implant bridge or implant denture. Implant bridges work best when you’re missing multiple teeth in a row, while an implant denture can replace an entire arch of teeth. Either way, your restoration will be connected to a set of dental implants for superior comfort, stability, and bite power.

Single Tooth Dental Implants

If you’re only missing a single tooth, we can fill the gap with a single dental implant – no implant bridges or dentures required! Our team will anchor a biocompatible implant post to your jawbone. Once your body’s natural osseointegration process is complete, the implant and bone will be fused together, providing superior stability, bite power, and comfort. Basically, having a dental implant is a lot like having a “real” tooth. You’ll even be able to keep your usual diet and enjoy all your favorite foods!

Your Questions, Answered Simply!

Does getting dental implants hurt?

At our implant center near Fort Worth, our dental implant procedures are designed to be as comfortable as possible. We use advanced techniques and technology to plan every detail of your treatment and minimize complications. We also offer sedation options to ensure minimal discomfort during and after the procedure.

Post-surgery, some patients may experience mild soreness or swelling, which typically subsides within a few days. Our team also provides detailed aftercare instructions and is always available to answer any questions you may have about the recovery process. This ensures that your implant heals completely and becomes a reliable anchor for your restoration.

What is the best way to find a dentist who does dental implants?

When looking for a dental implant provider, it's important to consider many factors such as experience, credentials, and patient satisfaction. So, it’s a good idea to do a little research on local providers in your area with a Google search. This way, you can not only see many providers near you but also check their patient reviews for yourself.

At Radiance Dentistry Dental Implant Center, our team includes:

  • Dr. Mounir Iskandar: A surgical prosthodontist and implantologist actively involved in developing advanced implant planning technologies.
  • Dr. Ola Al Hatem: A surgical prosthodontist with a passion for digital prosthodontics and patient-centered care.
  • Dr. Juan Gonzalez: A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon renowned for his expertise in complex implant procedures, including zygomatic and pterygoid implants.

Choosing specialists like ours ensures a higher level of precision and success in dental implant treatments compared to general dentistry practices.

Am I too old to get dental implants?

Age is not a limiting factor for dental implants. Many patients in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s have successfully received these smile enhancements with no issues. The primary considerations for implant candidacy are overall health and jawbone density.

At our implant center near Fort Worth, we conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine candidacy. Our advanced techniques, including bone grafting and the use of state-of-the-art XircOn™ implants, allow us to accommodate a wide range of patients, ensuring that age alone doesn't prevent you from achieving a restored smile.

How long does it take to recover from dental implant surgery?

Recovery time varies based on individual cases and the complexity of the procedure. Generally, patients can expect one to two weeks for the surgical site to heal and three to six months for full osseointegration. This time is necessary to ensure that your implant is sturdy enough to withstand biting and chewing forces for its long lifetime.

Our team's expertise ensures that the recovery process is as efficient and comfortable as possible, with support available every step of the way. If you’re concerned about any stage of your treatment or start to see or feel an issue with your implant, give us a call.
